12 killed in bus-auto collision in India

12 people died when an autorickshaw collided with a sleeper bus in Rajasthan, India. Among the dead are three women and some children.

According to police sources, a sleeper bus traveling from Dhalpur towards Jaipur collided with an auto-rickshaw in Sunipur area on Saturday (October 19) around 11 pm local time.
Shiv Lahari Meena, officer-in-charge of Bari Kotyali police station, said 12 people died in the incident, including the autorickshaw driver and several children.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed deep grief over the incident and ordered to ensure medical care for the injured.
He said, the news of loss of life in tragic road accident in Dhalpur is very sad. The district administration has been directed to arrange proper treatment for the injured. I wish the departed souls peace and the injured a speedy recovery.
Former state chief minister and Congress leader Ashok Gehlot also expressed his condolences on social media. He said that the death of 12 people in Dhalpur road accident is very sad. I wish the injured a speedy recovery.
